anyone got any homemade bow fishing rigs, if so how bout some pics, Bub

Here you go this is what I did to my Fb recurve I really don't use a reel anymore I just tie the string to my belt loop or the boat but I am working on a belt attachment for a spinner reel style I picked up from a friend

I'm tryn to get away from all the extra weight on the bow and slowly go all primitive and hunt fish like the karankawas did here in Texas there was no fishing reels or strings they used longer arrows 3ft and longer and thanks to eddie I have my first primitive style arrow tipped with alligater bone woot so hopefully soon il stick something with it soon

I forgot to tell you that all that pitch glue and sinew is sealed with Bee's wax.

I figured it was a wax  thanx again Eddie for the sweet arrow hopefully soon il get to test it out if it don't hold well I mite put some barbs close to the point

Just watched an episode of River Monster's going tribal.  He was in the Soloman islands.  One fellow was bow fishing with that same set up,  the extra long arrows.  They both shot mullet with it.

They were good shots, James, mullet are fast. ;) Must have been a lot of them.
