Hello fellow Archers...
I have been shooting since I was 6, and I absolutely love it! But unfortunately I live in Japan now, and the price to send a Bow overseas is very expensive... They also do not make bows here in Japan, at least I haven't seen any. I have never made my own Bow, and I was hoping you could help me with that...
If it wasn't to inconvenience you, I would be very thankful if you gave me some instructions on how to make an English Longbow.
Or is there a sight on here that may be of use to me (build-a-long for Longbow)? I have seen one that I like but it's a recurve and I know I am not ready to make somthing like that yet.
Thanks for your time!

I came across this link a few months ago. I haven't really looked that closely at it, and I've never made an ELB, but it might help you.

They had a Kyudo club at Kansai Gaidai University where I studied abroad. I'd keep poking around and I'll bet you'll find somebody doing kyudo. Ganbate!

Have a look at my website and bowyers diary where I blog my bow making mistakes and all.
Click the globe symbol under my username.
English longbows are a bit of a speciality for me as I'm in England ;D.
