From the color choice it looks like you have Osage Envy!  Osage Envy is a clinical term that is defined by the feelings of inadequacy from a non-osage shooter when he looks at an osage shooter's wood.

After looking at the recurves you put on that shagger, you got nothing to be envious about!!!  Nice work, sweet lines!

Thanks Bubby hickory is right up there
Thanks lee I don't use a jig for my strings. Its useless as far as im concerned
Thanks jw and legionnaire. Its dyed with honey amber diluted with some alcohol to achieve that color. I had it at a 3D shoot and a guy admired it and thought it was Osage too.  :D
thanks Ken Primitive Archer is the reason and catalyst that got me into this mess. I saw a mag at a local grocery store and was like" huh that's cool" bought it and it got the pump primed a few years ago.
Thanks okie
Thanks medicinewheel

Thanks postman...I've been using a dye called transtint. I like it and you can alter it nicely as well. Anyone else use it? I designed the quiver and me and my wife I made it in a combined effort.

Thanks petec

That is a really good looking bow.  I love hickory, my first bows were made out of it, just haven't done any staves yet, only boards.  Did you do any heat treating on that bow?  Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff, and of course, welcome to PA.

Thanks Parnell..it was heated up with a torch to give me an inch n a half reflex and it tillered out straight. Since then I use a heat gun now. Much safer and effective

Thanks beetle
