Justin, good choice on getting that book
it will help with learning to make new styles of points
and to get the size right as most everything is supposed to be actual size unless stated otherwise
there is good info in that book on the terms used for points and explaining some differant styles of flake patterns etc.

I freakin love that book!!!

I freakin love that book!!!
Seriously....can't help but to look through it. The little things interest me...like a quartzite "savannah river" is called an appalachain.......same point, just different name for what it's made of.

I really like the yearly updates. Overstreet lists many types and sizes but it is by no means complete. IMO, the best points are in private collections and heavily guarded. I've been lucky enough to see a few excellent private collections and was blown away.

Damn good book Justin. You'll probably have it memorized in a month ;D.

I'm trying to, Paul!
