Title: A few tonkin arrows
Post by: HoBow on April 24, 2011, 04:55:10 pm
Made these up for a buddy.  Tonkin shafts, turkey feathers with goose nock feather sinewed on.  Bone and horn with mother of pearl nocks.  There was a sixth, but the feathers were not on right so I will have to rework it.  After looking at the pics, noticed the bone (white) nocks are off 90 degrees.  I'll fix it later  ;D

Very nice arrows. Looks like you took your time sanding them and giving these a nice finish.

Aero, You have to do all the straightening before you reduce the nodes or they will break at the node while straightening.
