Post by: crooketarrow on April 23, 2011, 12:06:40 pm: I thank you but I like longer one peice for hafting arrows. I really don't like to tie them together and have the knots. I've got plenty of deer sinew to do that with if I want to. But THANKS anyway.

Post by: Underwater Basket Weaver on April 24, 2011, 12:06:19 pm: You can also shred the sinew very finely and twist fibers together to form a longer thread. This is what I've always done. But it sounds like you've found something that works for you, so no reason to change.

Over the last 5 years I've used long sinew raps much tighter.
I'll also braided it a couple times but like I said one peice works much better and you can really keep it tight as you rap it. I've found out just works better. Just the way I do it.
