Title: Bow Quiver
Post by: Kegan on June 05, 2007, 07:58:37 pm
Well, they're not primitve (at least not how I made them), but here are some pics of one of the two quivers I just finished up (my first successes). This is my better one, the second one. They were both made from aluminum, brads, and ducttape ;D. This one has a leather covered hood and more stable "brace pieces" on to attach to the bow- better for thinner limbed bows, my personal favorite. Never used one before, but it shoots well and quiet, seems really nice for stalking, and gives a little weight to the bow to help keep it steady. I like 'em.

Yup. I used aluminum to make a "V" bracket to hold around the limb and the velcro to strap it.

It gives some weight to my red oak bow, and is a nice little hunting quiver. Still used to the old back quiver, but I'm starting to like this one on my red oak bow;D.

Your doing well - your mechanically inclined. Reminds me of well me :), look at it, sit and think about it for a spell, and make it work with what ya got on hand - keeps one occupied and a lot of fun. keep it up!

My brother LOVES it. It is amazing, if he ever shoots, even with just one arrow, he has to wear the quiver.
