The handle had not one but two eye guards, and the blade is L6 steel. I tried to make it in a lost lake style point with a chisel tip. This knife even stands up on its own like a tripod because of the 2 tines. This has been my personal knife for a bit and I've enjoyed it, but its time to let this baby go so I'm givin it to Twin Oaks Bow Club to raffle off at the Classic! Hope whoever gets it enjoy it as much as I did... now how to convince Greg to make a cool sheath for it, maybe I'll leave that up to Pappy.

Maybe it needs a Cheyenne sheath! thanks for the kind words yall, I really like makin knives and enjoyed giving them to people even more. I'll try to get a good picture of it standing on its own and post it. Come on down to the Tennessee Classic and this knife might be yours! plus a weekend of the most fun in your life...

I agree. need to see how that blade is made. Great looking knife.
-
This may sound like a dumb question. But her it goes.
How did you attach the blade to the antler?
-
for the moment, I'm gonna keep the knapped steel technique a secret >:D, I did a tutorial down at the bow club but no one took any pictures. Ill tell you though that it takes hours and a lot of patience. The knife is actually a hidden tang that goes deep into the handle and epoxy'd into place. glad yall like my work
