I just reached the end :-[....Pass the tissues Jamie...but not tears of joy.
-
I really like the artifact video..... especially the small arrow points that you show. I really like original Texas arrow points, they show some exceptional workmanship and you know me....I LOVE those birdpoints!!
-
Thanks Billy! I have more points, so I guess I'll have to show them off as well? ;D
:D Justin, it's not that bad. There's more where that came from.
-
I really enjoyed your analysis of the old points and how they were manufactured. Very interesting. Of course, I'm always intrigued with your production of points using indirect precussion. Both videos were entertaining and informative. Thanks for sharing with us.

dad-gummit you just blew the end of the movie justin. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once again great videos! I agree I like the artifacts and your analysis, the (your thoughts) videos were very good I to hope to someday be able to knap without much thought, let it be more instinctive but im a long ways from there lol Thanks again and bust out the glue ;D

Sorry Jamie, I was just so emotional after seeing it, everything was a blur and I wasn't thinking clearly
-
Xin, I hope my analysis is correct. I'd be happy being 50% correct. I've asked some archeologic types for some input so I'll know soon enough... ;D
Jamie... :D
Tracker, maybe I should try "restoring" the point? I can finish what's left of the large piece and make a clay ear to replace the broken one. I know a couple guys who do restorations like that. Nah, I'll just have to break down and make another point and waste more time with this dumb, dangerous, no girls allowed, rock-breaking-out-back thing...(heheheh >:D)

Thats funny I was picturing the little old lady neibor in her yard peeking over the fence saying to her self this guy really has a problem with talking to him self lol ;D
-
Hahah... my youngest daughter beat the old lady this time. She asked me on Saturday, "Who are you talking to, Daddy?"

;D :D
