My son thinks these kind of bows look cool so I made him one from hickory. He helped me shape the handle till it fit him right. Its 62" ntn and pulls 40# at 28" but he only draws about 24". He really likes it. He shoots carbon arrows because hes not that good of a shot yet and they seem to hold up better. I shot it around 100 times and was really surprised at how hard it shot. Thanks for lookin.

Matt, he helps me out in the shop every now and again, most of the time he's too busy playin some kind of sport to help me work on a bow. I figure let him do what he enjoys doin while hes a kid and maybe someday he will take an interest in bowbuilding. He does enjoy goin stave huntin with me.
