Some of the best prices for staves come from Kerry Brinkley (kerryb).  I've been paying between $45-55 and actual shipping which usually comes to $11-12.  He's also a serious bowyer, so if it ain't good enough for him he burns it for heat.

Yes I am pretty sure, can't link because of rules but they seem to specialize in knapping and arrow making along with other primitive crafts, it's the first website that comes up when you google "native ways".

Do they have a ebay site or something? I couldn't find any staves on the site store for nothing.

I do not think Kerry has a site yet. He was talking about it when I saw him in Feb. Great guy but I do not think he is connected with what you are looking at. I got som novic MANY years ago to try knapping and then got sidetracked. I seem to remember they delt just fine.
