I have had this one done for a few days, and have been shooting it alot, to make sure it's ready for another's hand.I think it's ready.
Since it is March 1st I figured I'd get the ball rolling in wait to all those bow trade build alongs that will soon be coming. Looking forward to see what all is coming up with.
63" 51# @ 27" Skinny little thing 1 1/8" at the handle tapering to smallish tips of buffalo and bone overlays. Hard for me to take pics well enough to do the beauty of these skins justice, but it is my favorite bow of this years bow building season.
This one is going to Ohio. Hope he is pleased. Thanks for looking.

What a stunner of a bow! I had to do a double take on a couple of the black and white photo's as the carp skins match the tree bark! ;D

Tim, Stunning bow there. Very inspirational as always. Often imitated never duplicated!

Tim, this is my favorite bow I have seen of yours. The backing is sweet and that braced profile is impossible to refuse. How could you see that and want to hunt with something else?

you have done a great job buddy.i absolutly love the look of that bow.thank you for the pics, steve :)
-
Thanks you all very much, many nice words coming from some very impressive bowyers, makes one kinda humble. :-[ Also makes one strive for that perfect bow,(If there is such a thing).
as far as cranking them out? Feb is usually when I spend alot of time in the shop. Several bows going at once in different stages. It is my "quality time".
Thanks again all.
-
My fav is still your osage backed ipe recurve you made last year that I got to see in person at the Classic. Man that thing was a beauty! :)
-
Dang, Timo.
-
Sure do love those carp skins!! Overall, I'd say that little shooter is another success. I'm constantly amazed by how little wood you all leave on those bows. I look at my stack a sticks and see where I can keep on shaving.
I wish those carp skins weren't so stinkin labor intensive. I'd love to get my hands on a couple a those!
-
Tim, that bow is gorgeous! I like everything about it and sure wish I lived in Ohio long enough to be getting it. I know he will love it.
