My router died last night, about 8:30pm, which killed all networking in the house. You'd think, given the way I like primitive things, that this would be no big deal. Holy cow, we're crippled. Without my PA fix, I was unable to fall asleep. I did get a lot of reading done but this is a serious hardship! It's good I could check in from work, at least I have some semblance of normalcy. I called this morning and Verizon is sending a new router to me. Should be here tomorrow afternoon. Man am I ever bound to technology. ::)

Sigh...I'm back online. Thankfully the only thing that broke was the A/C adapter...didn't have to reprogram the whole router. ;D
Sitting in the living room, the 3 of us (wife and daughter who is here for a visit with our granddaughter), all 3 with laptops. Life is back to normal, and good. :D

Welcome back, George. Glad to know you survived.

Thanks Pat, kind-a embarrassing to realize what constitutes a crisis these days. :-[

My computer crashed a few months ago and I was off line for a few weeks(except at work). It does seem silly to worry about such things but it is our reality these days. ::)
