as stated made from scrap beefwood with white oak backin . 62 inches tip to tip 1 inch wide , d belly 47 lbs at 28 inches . pardon the white legs been too cold for shorts till now
-
Looks really good Ken. color contrast is cool, the beefwood makes the white oak backing pop. The belly looks semi-rounded? btw do you ever do anything else but churn out bows? jeesh makes me feel like a slacker. :) good job

Really nice Ken. Tiller looks spot-on. I agree with Eric, like the wood combo.

Nice job Ken, Is this the only bow you have used white oak for backing or have you built others ? I ask , wondering is white oak a good backing material ? Thanks Denny

thanks Cam the beefwood was a scrap piece left over with nail holes in it
thanks Denny , ive used it on 6 bows so far, its a great backing only surpassed by hickory in my opinion

Another nice entry for Feb. Backed Bow of the Month Ken! Doesn't look like a scrap bow to me. :)
-
Sweet, I like the way the grip and binding colour sort of matches the colour/contrast of the wood. Nice bow, I like the rounded belly gives it a hint of ELB meet AFB...
