Title: Need Oil-Tanned Cowhide Brown

In need of some good 4-5 oz. oil tanned cowhide in a brown color.

What do you have?  Photos and description...

Have Osage stave for trade.

Hi 1776j, so I'm not sure if the leather I have is oil tanned... I don't really know anything about the tanning process. There is  a label on it that says it is 5-5.5 ounces. It's got a few rough spots, and is irregularly cut, nice chocolate brown color, good texture. Here is one pic, can send more if you want. The ruler in the pic is 48" long. Pm me if you are interested.

Well, I'm no expert myself, however, all I know personally is that Oil-tanned leather can be distinguished from other leathers by its waxy surface.

If you're still not sure as to what it is, if you want to send me, say a small sample of it I can tell by that.  2x2" or smaller perhaps???  I f so, pm me I'll give ya my mailing address.

I have a few leads but nothing yet on this leather.
