Title: Leather tip overlays?

Anyone ever use, thick heavy leather as tip overlays?

Yes I have used heavy leather. I soaked the leather with super glue and then glued it on after shooting a bit the string kinda makes an indention into the leather and helps hold the string in place on a bow with very narrow tips lake a pyramid design.Ronnie
