Title: ambush bow
Post by: bubby on February 04, 2011, 07:19:52 pm
this is a little paddle style bow, white oak 49" ntn, 57# @ 22", 2 3/8" @ the widest to 3/4" at the nocks and about 1 1/4" of set. started out a self bow and raised a big splinter, glued it down and backed it with some old bed sheet material, Bub(http://i623.photobucket.com/albums/tt320/bubncheryl/100_1962.jpg)

man thats just great i realy like the decoration and the side profile is awesome.the paddle bows have become my favorite design. i have done three lately and i have been making them a little longer so i can get my full draw out of them. finishing up a 53" osage sinew backed one right now. again beautifull bow.

HatchA, it's an ash tree, in my front yard, and my wife said NO, you can't cut it down to make bows, ;D
