Looks like you got it down. Now to refine your technique's. Cool bunch of points there!

you say your new at this,very nicely done  8)
i like me obsidions,they are always nice to look at
is that one in the second pic triple flow?

if i was to give any advise,i would say
work on your notches,try and get them to go a little deeper into the point
to do this you need the base to be thinner so the notch wont stall out
but shallow notches work well to
they dont tend to grab as much hair when penetrating a critter

good luck and keeping breaking them rocks
and keep them band aids within reach  ;)

thank's guy's, sailordad that nor calif mahogany, I've been at it off and on about 7 mos, but not very steady, most of them arent very thick, 1/4" 5/16" thick to start, just a lack of skill on my part, but breakin rock is breakin rock even if it goes in the trash,Bub

Nice bunch of points there. You are doing great.  Yep ! breaking rock is learning. I'm still learning after 25 yrs.  Broke a nice hunting point in half today,  Woo Hoo....Frank

i haven knapped much lately(been chasing bunnies)
the other day i decided to give it a whack
8 preforms later i had 16 pieces and no points
then i said "better cal it quits for the day"
i was either being to stubborn or to stupid to quite sooner  ;D
