ok. this is the same bow as in the topic "how does the tiller look". the tiller is not perfect, but i'm done now. the bow is with it's becoming owner here.
I'll post some finished pictures next week.

oh my.. just noticed that the lower limb is totally stiff from the fades.. have to fix that ::)
-
I see the stiff area you mentioned spanning 2-3 inches out of the fades on the lower limb, but doesn't really look that bad. I usually want the lower limb a little stiffer myself. Great looking bow, and really good job on a short recurve. I think they're more challenging to tiller in my opinion. Could you mention again what kind of wood it is, although I'm sure I'm probably not familiar with it. :)

Yeah, like Greg, I like the bottom limb a little stiffer (all my bow, once 100% broken in, have very heavy bending bottom limbs). Looks good! Any dimensions as of yet?

brace your selves! finished version coming in tomorrow/wensday. I finished it today, but have to wait for finishing to dry.

Looks great, the new owner looks like his form is right on.

Just thinking.............that comment "Brace yourselves"- could it be derived from old english archery ? Just a thought.
