took a break from the fluting project yesterday and finished off these two pieces . brown one is heated jasper (i think picture jasper) and the other i s some kind of european flint. the pics dont do justice to either piece. the jasper is gorgeous.

Damn! Jamie your getting em thin! I can see why you were having trouble with the diamond cross section for the cumberlands :). That is some beautiful rock you have there..
