Nice work Ken75!! I've been pondering the idea of vertical lams myself. Looks like it works just fine. I just discovered my local menards now has hickory boards in stock, picked up two today. I think I'll try something with those. There's been a lot of those molle style bows on lately. Maybe I'll give one a try too. Thanks for the inspiration!

Nicely put together! How wide is your ipe strip? Great thinking Ken - the skins look great also.

Yep, that has been tried on another forum .started out to stiffen handle area and progressed from there.its along the lines of I beam construction. Looks good too.

Many discoveries have been made independently by many people and cultures. With so many forums now its hard to keep up with all the information brought forth. Lucky for us here we have people such as yourself and Rich who are willing to share yoour innovation with us all. Keep tinkering, always look forward to your post.

sure makes for a nice looking belly.with the light and dark woods.

That is awesome! I think it looks amazing and if it shoots as well as it looks it will be a major winner. Right up my alley too as, when it comes to bow making, I usually want to know if I "can" as opposed to whether or not I "should." That is also the moment when both genius and innovation are born...usually ;)

thanks del , hopefully others will try it
thanks ohma
thanks Alomostp mostly its the what ifs that keep me trying
