This is what I did past two very busy days; not an exact replica of one but with all attributes found on pictures of such collected on the www.
One piece stock of hard maple, handle wrapped with deer rawhide, incised carvings of thunderbird and geometric pattern, drop has feather of peregrine falcon (a gift from a falconer who owns the bird legally), quill wrapped with trade cloth, goose feather with quill hand painted and rawhide wrapped, hermine tail bordered in copper cone, trade beads and buckskin thongs.
The club has been aged with cut marks and scratches; stain has been rubbed back using coarse steel wool to give the wood an aged appearance.
Finish is linseed oil.
Was a lot of fun to make, hope you like it!
Wünsche Euch allen einen Guten Rutsch ins Neue Jahr (Wish you all a happy slight into the New Year that means)!

;D ;D ;D
Yes, these things must have been serious weapons with the drop point and the ball concentrating the energy to one very small spot; on top of that, this thing really doesn't weight much and would be easy to swing.
Thanks again everybody, and a Happy New Year!
