-
first i thought it was a sage hen...BUT,i think its a road runner...SO,what do i win..a BIG KISS...LOL..john
-
I have to agree with John, except about the kiss! ::) It is just left of center with her legs showing.
-
Dang, I saw it right away but couldn't identify the shape for quite a while;
I would say sage grouse but maybe the legs are too long.
PS: need NOT be kissed by you either.
-
Now if only I could get my ground blinds to hide me that well ;D :D ;D :D
-
I'm going with road runner also. Now where is the coyote? ;D

beep beep
-
Grouse! :-\
-
Geococcyx californianus, you can see his legs, tail well, but you can also see the little blueish patch on the side of his face if you look real close.
-
road runner
-
Looks like a entree course for dinner with a side of dumplins.
-
Yep...told you it was too easy....Geococcyx californianus....the Common Roadrunner....master of Camouflage.....
-
Once again Ma Nature blows my mind with her ability to camoflauge her kids. The roadrunner is in the cuckoo family...I have one of his cousins in my living room, a Senegalese coucal. Very clever birds.
-
I love this game. :)

beepbeep .....................................................................zoom

OK....that last one was too easy....but I have about run out of tough ones....so give this one a try....
-
Deer on the left.
-
Mule deer standing behind that tallest tree. His head on the right, butt in the left.
-
mulie center frame on the flat!
-
Owl in the tallest tree.
Wayne
-
Owl or maybe a hawk...... 8)
Wayne
-
Whatever it is I see something center frame. Can't tell if it is in the tree or off behind it on the ground.
-
There are three fire ants crawling on the third rock from the left on the horizon, and a nine-spotted ladybug on the sixteenth twig on the fourth limb of the tree to the far left.
-
Like the Vietnamese welder I work with would say....
Steve....you so funny guy....no funny Ha-Ha.....you just funny looking. (You add the accent)
-
I see a mule deer in the middle slightly to the right.
-
Jackalope doe, no horns...ar at the most, just a button buck.
-
Well.....Shannon was the first to figure it out.....I believe.....Mulie Doe.....maybe....It followed me around for about 15 minutes....hiding behind Mesquites and Plum Thickets....Mulies are really inquisitive....remind Me a lot of Antelope....too nosy for Their own good!
-
cricket
-
What happened to the bird in the tree? I guess that doe must have scared it off!...... ::)
Wayne
-
Doe? I can see spikes.
-
You have a Good Eye Justin...the only one to get it totally correct.....it's a Spike Horn Mulie Buck....He followed me all over this morning...and as soon as I walked back up the Canyon...he walked right into the Feeder to eat on the Corn I had dumped on the Ground below my Feeder...
-
Yeah, the doe that uh.......was following the spike, and uh.....went over the hill when she uh...... saw El D, and as she snorted, she uh scared the bird out of the tree......uh......yeah, that's the ticket, yeah, that's just what happened. ;D ::)
That spike looks like Rudolph !
Wayne
-
Ha Ha Ha! ;D I knew'd it!
BTW, I said "his" head was to the right. 8)
