I got to agree dacite is so cool to work with and them are some nice points.

That material reminds me of the stuff that we had on our ranch in Wyoming that came off the rock smelter. Good looking points ;)

Thanks guys!  I like the dacite a bunch.  Works really nice, and seems like it would be fairly durable, too.  I can get a bunch of really nice, flat flakes off of the bigger spalls too, which has lead to me trying to fill a Crown Royal bag with bird points.

Yeah, I'm the ruggedly handsome brother-in-law, Eddie.  Although, I would still hide my dacite from them.  Ain't nobody taking this stuff from me.

new contest.....knapping the best point within 1.5hr of consuming a 1/2full cup a squeezins.....might level the playing field a bit

We already do that at the TN Classic. Except probably a bit more than a half a cup................;D

Well I was trying to save a few stitches and bandaids and superglue.....more than half a cup, Id probaly use my thumb as a billet and pressure flake with my pinkie.
