Title: newbie question

What is a "static" recurve?  And what is the alternative to "Static"?  Dynamic?

Static means it don't move.  A static recurve does not flex in the recurve. A dynamic recurve will straighten out some as the bow is drawn. Justin

Non-static recurves are also often called working recurves.
