Title: Need dimensions on bendy osage bow
Post by: JonW on October 03, 2010, 05:43:35 pm
I am wanting to build a "short" style of bow that bends in the handle. I am going to back it with sinew as well. I would like to get 26" of draw and 50#-55#.  What width would you guys go with and length.

You could get by with 50+ in length. 55or 56 should be safe enough if you take your time on the tillering.I would say an inch wide would make that weight on that short of a bow if it is some good
Osage.  :) Good luck and keep us updated.  :)
