This one was about a half inch longer, but I got over center on one flake and she made like a tree and split.

looking good jonathan.

Looks like an arrowhead, Jonathan.

actually it looks pretty nice. Yeah, I know the feeling on getting a point the length you want, and suddenly the rock, says, nah, and you either have two bird points, or a somewhat reduced in size point. :( Been there, still doing that! >:(

very nice point
i dont know any knappers that havent busted their share of points down to size
the key is to get a point from what ya got left, and ya did a fine job at that
keep it up

Looks good. I still break as many as I make. Just part of the process. Start out making a knife and end up with an arrow head instead.

Looks good Jonathan. Keep at it. I broke 3 yesterday. Wish you could have made it up to the house this weekend.

I like it. She is purdy ;D

Thanks everybody. Some of the pieces are finally starting to fall into place and make sense. Hopefully I'll be able to start turning out some better stuff soon.
TJ, I wish I could have made it, too. Turns out there was no strep, and no infections. His fever did stay over 100 until sometime in the middle of the night, though.
