-
Wow! Very nice collection! Second last bow you got there the fairly short one with recurve tips..how did u make that . I rlly want one of that style just maybe a bit about it?
-
Ken i love those short recurves and judgin by that pile of hick ya got we'll be seein some new and beautiful work for awhile yet!!Great job and go get em !!
-
15yr , that is a 54 inch static recurve the back is trapped (or narrowed) to try and equalize the tension compression strenths, not an expert but i think it helped reduce set. the recurves are steamed and bent by hand, and it has a three inch rigid handle , five inches total with fades limbs are straight tapered from 1 3/4 fades to 1/2 inch nocks. skins are sidewinder from NTD.
thanks Randy i think we'll see some more short recurves out of that pile
-
Is it hick
-
:o ...got them all bookmarked for... HEY!!!! almost got me there. :P Lotsa bows in a year my friend, keep up the good work. Pic #15 is my favorite bow you've built so far. :)
-
I know this may sound a little strange but for some reason I get the suspicion that Ken may be a bowaholic just can't figure out whi I think that. :D ;D Ron
-
Nice to see how you progresses Ken. I like how you have not adapted any particular style yet and just build all kindfs, good experience. Steve
-
All of those in just one year??!!!! Nice job, you've been busy. I've got to make one of those scalloped ottawa bows.
-
Yep Kens got a real bad problem.............which bow to shoot ! :D

Great work, Ken. That's a good addiction to have - keeps you busy and is productive. Good luck on the next year's worth of bows.
-
thanks Max i fully intend to have a fun year with bows, if work will allow
-
Hey Ken
Doesn't look like you have aged a bit! ;D
That is one nice mess of bows. I am impressed. And yes you are in need of help for that addiction. ;D
Also...You could'nt be more correct.....THE HELP THAT IS GOTTEN HERE AT PA IS AS IMPRESSIVE AS YOU CRANKIN OUT ALL OF THOSE WEAPONS!
Plus a little joshin thrown in...
God Bless
Ron

Ken, I think you just might be hooked on the sweet addiction. It just stays interesting doesn't it? So many bow woods to try, designs to test, and arrows to shoot.

hammer that one has diamondback skins, it went to a 12yr old boy to hunt with , green one down a ways from that went to his sister and the static recurve below that to the dad .
