Title: new huntin arrows

Heres a couple white oak shafts with some trade points by wolfsong.They fly great and really get some good penetration.

Oak shafts, hand forged heads....shot out of that bow ya just posted.......poor damned deers anyways!

Sweet Jesus.....good thing they gots radar aimed anti-aircraft guns these days, how much lead ya need on an incoming war arrow anyways?

Very nice arrows

I've used Red Oak before for arrows and found that they tend to warp with fluctuations in moisture over time.  Black Ash makes for a much more stable arrow shaft, I've had some for many years and they're still straight.  White Ash is almost as good as Black Ash but they can also warp a bit.  Maybe White Oak is better than the Red

marc these came out pretty strait and they got rained on the other day and so far so good!I need to get some Black Ash!
