Title: bow string wax

What string wax do you  archers use!
off the shelf or your own mixture I had a mate who used to mix bees wax with something else but I have forgot it was

I use straight beeswax from Hobby Lobby.

For string making I use bees wax. For string maintenance, I use a purpose made string wax, like Bohning.

Beeswax works great...but then so does Parafin Wax...or any of the String Conditioners on the Market...I prefer Beeswax and a Hair Dryer myself.

I use bees wax from a local bee keeper .... he gives me a block when I go to buy honey.  Works wonders..

I use a mix of Bees Wax and Paraffin.

beswax on all my strings
even on the wheelie bow  ;)
