Just found tru-oil in can. Has anyone tried it?
-
is it the spray type?
-
Yep. Seems promising.
-
Its all I use.. any gun store and sometimes Walmart has it... I think it works better... you can rub it on with your hands or a rag....Brian

Brian, I'm talking about tru-oil in an aerosal can. I use tru-oil too, on all my bows, just haven't used it in a can ;)
-
Oh..lol... i have tried it to, cant say i care to much for it... seems like it takes too long to dry, but that might just be my technique...lol
-
Thanks :)

Ya it worked once for me, but then the nozzle got clogged and i tried using acetone and it worked again but then it got clogged again. Not fun. I prefer wipe on poly.

not sure but try this next time
when finished spraying hte product, turn the can upside down ans spray for about 2-3 seconds
only air shold be coming out now, this should clear the nozzle ;)

I've never used tru-oil but I did buy a new type of finish a month ago. It's a polymerized linseed oil and modified pine sap that you wipe on. Makes for an interesting finish, downside is it takes at least 24 hours to cure

It works great, just don't go near as far as the bottle,I am to tight to use it.One can one bow,I can do several bows with the bottle. But it dose work fine. :)
