Title: Last chance with the beechwood bow!
Post by: tgr on September 09, 2010, 08:47:48 pm
I've been posting regarding arrow flight and string alignment.  THanks for all the advice!  I heated and straightened the limbs so now the string is more towards the center.  I've also lowered the knock on the string.  I don't feel comfortable using these to hunt this year, although I really wanted this year to be my "primitive year".
I'm just not getting the results I get from my laminated long bow and aluminum arrows.

I will try taking off more wood on the arrows to reduce spine and try again.

Again thanks for all the advice.
