Title: Bamboo ?

I was wondering if Arundo Donax,[Giant Reed] can be used in bow building. I'm not sure about species that are used, but out here it's an invasive plant thats all over the place, and if it will work I'll be set for boo. Thanks, Bub

I don't believe giant reed grass will make a good bow backing. Too bad!  :(

Thanks Pat, I just got off the phone with a guy from fish & game, says it's real brittle, oh well, I got lots a luck, most of it bad.
