Title: tomato hunting in the UK
Post by: dragonman on September 09, 2010, 03:55:01 pm
The hunting season is getting close here, but there is nothing left to hunt! and you're not  allowed to hunt with a bow even if there was ???. So, I thought I shoot some home grown tomatoes ;D Shot this one at 25yards, with my left hand,(been practicing left handed), using an old 50lb  boo backed hiickory. Not really showing off more of a fluke!! They'll probably move this one ;D

That one should be dead. Gut it out, hang it for a few days in a cool place, and serve it up.  8)

damn good thing you been practicing shooting lefty
ifn you wouldnt have, and just wounded that mato it probably would have charged you and you would be lucky to be alive
them maters are very very dangerous when wounded,i would rather deal with a wounded cape buffalo than one of them  ;D

nice shooting

I've had some pretty mean courgettes in my garden, but I've taken 'em out in hand to hand combat.

Gotta keep the population under control, next thing you know, there'll be more maters than fox or pheasant and rabid tomatoes will be running amuck!

Remember Howard Farbage
While taking out his garbage
He turned around and he did see
Tomatoes hiding in his tree
And now he's just a memoreeee!

chorus:
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
They're goey, gushy, squishy, mushy
They're rotten to the core
They're hiding
Outside of your door!

Man, I just loved that movie.
