Title: how does the tiller look?
Post by: a finnish native on April 17, 2007, 02:06:16 pm
ok. this bow is 48"NTN and 44@21" it is from tuomi again. the english name is Bird Cherry, European Bird Cherry (prunus padus) the bow is not finished yet, and the lower limb (left) is weaker than the upper. so that I'm going to work on, but how does tiller look besides that? and be totally honest.
I'll post pics from the finished version later on.

The tiller looks pretty good I'd say. Maybe slightly stiff just out of the fades on the left limb in the picture, but not bad. Looks like you're doing a really good job on a challenging short bow. :)

i'd get her to bend a little more just past the fades and past mid limb on the left.

It looks good to me.  I like my bows a little stiff in the fades.  Justin

I agree with Justin. Trying to get a little more bending nat the fades may be good on a shorty but if you have already reached the draw you want upi are all set. Jawge
