Thought I'd get in one last froggin' trip before bow season opened. All these came from two small ponds within a mile of my house. About the fastest trip I've been on, to have killed as many.
They're skinned and twitching in salt water as I type this 8)

Nice haul! I keep saying I'm going but haven't made it yet.

Jamie, this was but a drop in the bucket. All these came from two ponds about 50 yards long X 35 yards wide. I didn't even go to the "good" one and left as many as I shot.
-
Dang! That's a mess of amphibians there :o. Last time I went, it was giggin. Walked about five hundred miles one night and came home with about three...

No more eating size crays here either

Some of the best crawdads I ever ate were out of Tobin Lake in northern Saskatchewan. Picked up about a dozen one morning, they were all about 8 inches long, the claws were big enough to crack for the meat. Delish!
Mmmm, thinking about those frogs makes me hoooongray! I got a bottle of sauvignon blanc and some fresh corn on the cob to go with 'em along with some 'fridge pickles outa the cukes from my garden!

Nice haul, that is one good looking bunch of frogs.Yum Yum.
