Title: linen thread bowstring

I wOuLd Like to try a linen bowstring but not sure what kind of linen thread to, look for that works well for this.any ideas??

I think you will find that most out there that use it buy from Pyrosupplies.com. Its 40 lb. breaking strength and I've had no issues using it. It ain't cheap either.

No, it's not cheap. But, if you want an authentic string, it works very well. I made an authentic Tudor period linen string for my 90# yew warbow, and it turned out super. It does make a bulky string, however, with the warbow string ending up about twice the size of a normal FF string.
