Jesse, those are awesome ! What is the main difference between a cumberland and a clovis ? To me they look almost the same except for the little fish tail base on the cumberlands ? Are they both fluted up the center like a clovis is ? Awesome work !
Shannon, with all those heavy serrations on the pine trees are they good for a hunting point or does that impede penetration ? I wasn't sure if serrating them actually makes them dull or sharper than a non serrated head ? I love the micro serrations I have seen on Woody Blackwell's pages. They look like the same serrations you see on shark teeth.
I think Mason and I will pick up cans and mow yards for gas $$$ for July, we gotta come ! Be prepared to teach kindergarten class again to me ! Mason is about to graduate elementary school I think and move up to JR High ??? Jesse, I met the guy in Michigan that gave you that huge piece of copper you use to spall boulders with, super nice gent ! I am getting me a tool kit together now. Ya'll done hooked another on rock bustin !!!

Had a good time at the knap-in
That cumberland is about 5 inches.
Only photo i have of the cartor cave cumberland. i sold it at the knap-in.
The flute on the other side matches the flute on this side.
