Here's a blade I beat out yesterday. It is a little thicker than what I wanted, but with my track record beating on Obsidian I decided to quit. It has some pretty greenish bands running through it. Here's the good, the bad, and ugly pictures.

Thanks guys. Wade, I've been playing with the coral, just took a little break. ;D

Good lookin blade Eddie. I think obsidian needs to be a little on the thick side.
I'm thinkin like Wade though...If I had coral, I wouldn't be messin with any obsidian.

Nice blades ! I don't know as thick or thin matters all that much,it's all about the edge (nothing sharper than obs). you can shave with an untouched edge,(or cut your self to the bone). ' Frank

Maybe that is what I need to do, just stop, when I get the shape I want, and leave it thick. I can't get a blade where I want it, without breaking it. :( Oh, how well, I know how sharp Obsidian is!
