Here's a point I knocked out today with stone and bone only. I used the hammerstones for my early stage spalling and percussion thinning. I used the anlter for late stage percussion thinning and pressure flaking. I seem to waste more material with the stone and bone than I do the copper. I really like how the antler helps me to really thin a point out though. I think I'll try using my copper billets for initial percussion thinning and my antler for final stage thinning for a while.

Great Job d!
By the way, did you happen to be at the north GA knap in this past weekend? I was there and was just wondering if I happened to meet you.

Thanks guys, it's definitely different than using copper. I still like my copper better though. I didn't make it to the N GA knap in. I was planning on being there but it didn't work out.
