Title: did a couple

finally finished another obsidian knife and tried a pine tree. it aint like shannons but itll do. still need to dress the edge on the blade too . this one is going to an art dealer in upstate new york.

thanks guys. the pine tree is some pedernales (?), wasnt the toughest stuff ive worked but wasnt butter either. i can see why shannon likes these things. gonna try a few more and see if i can clean up the serations. . the mahogny knife is just shy of 11". still need to decide what to do for a wrap. i want to do something different and have been leaning towards some kind of bark wrapping. maybe elm

     Dang, Boy, you and Emory Coons ought to get together!  That is one sweet blade!  And the pine tree, is nice!
Pay Shannon no mind.  I been telling him he needs to keep off of here till about five years, and then maybe the rest of us will have sort of caught up with him.......But does he listen?  Ha! Heck no he doesn't!  I guess he needs someone to shout in his ear, since sound doesn't travel well in a vacuum!......:) ::) ;D
