Hi all, I bought this bamboo pole for 5$ and made this Target Bow.
The Bow weighs in at 30#@28 64ntn.
All bamboo trilam, I glued the Planks with TB3.
The walls of the boo were not very thick to get a higher # Bow and the nodes are spaced about 14"
I got a set of about 2" because of that other than that it's a kind shooter.
The backing and String are Hemp or flax Fibers from a Floor mat, they are real long fibers are about 2 foot long and strong.

Beautiful! What was the diameter of the pole?
the pole was just under 3" and had cracks horizontal so I had to cut in between those.

This is a site for Primitive Archery and you've honored it with this bow. Bookmarked, too, for April Self BOM fun.

Thanks all, I try to use all natural, was gonna use hide glue for the lam and backing but was not sure if that would holdup with the boo.
Thanks for the Honor.
