Title: osage guro needed

hello, first time bowyer here i'm about to layout to bow, i'm shooting for a 64"  55# recurved osage bow.  my problem lays in what will become my bottom limb.  in the last 4-5 inchs of the limb the grain binds the of to the side and there is a slight twist.  should i ignore this when laying out my bow and cut through the bent grain, or should i try to bend my lines a little to fallow the grain and straighten it out once i get some of the bulk wood off?

Most definitely follow the grain on your layout. If the tips don't line up with the handle after it's roughed out, you can heat-straighten it into line then.

Follow the longitudinal (lateral, vertical) grain but don't worry about a twist. Check this. Jawge
