been on vacation for a few days , i decided to make a arrow or two. as usual i dont know when to stop! here is what i've done so far

shafts are popular, turkey fletch glued on four hand tied on 22 , the three in the last pic are ones i left a bulb on the point end about 3 or 4 inches back and built it up with art. sinew going to try for some waterfowl arrows, maybe they will skip . thanks for looking !

Dang Ken, Them are some serious air screws :D I like 'em !!!!! I for one , would be real interested in wether them birding arrows do skip......either way they are pretty slick.

rich im gonna try and video it with a floating target , maybe it'll work ,i'll try posting the results

Nice looking arrows. A skipping arrow would be interesting.

sc , its based on a native american arrow that you can hold low on a duck or whatever and the skipping arrow across the water should ensure a hit !
however i usualy have several hundred wood ducks in my three cypress ponds and im not sure you could hit full draw their mighty flighty . it would be fun to try though

I've been wanting to make some skipping arrows...I can't remember where I saw it...maybe it was in the book Cherokee Bows and Arrows
