By the light of it I mean. ;D
Got a big ole heavy snow last night and I guess the wires couldn't hold it so we lost power this morning. I waited till this afternoon ,still no power, couldn't take it no longer so I got out the lantern and started whacking!
Thinking maybe I should do this more often?
The first point is from a piece that Sawfiler sent me of a piece he busted in the presence of Greg B. Had a terrible inclusion that gave me all kinds of trouble, but turned out with quite a surprise.

The second one is a piece of Keokuk that I just got out of the cooker. Turned out well and I am pleased with it. 5" Dalton.

Lastly, I got this piece of Georgetown down at ojam in a trade. The first whack and my hands got wet. Puzzled me until I turned it over. Never seen a quartz pocket full of water. I clean up that side and tried my best to work everything around it. I got this side perty well but the other is not so clean. Glad I could save the pocket. It's tough trying to work just one side of the rock.
