i taught a "survival" bow class last weekend for a great bunch of guys and gals.
during the whole process, i only used a knife ,some cordage and an arrow i made on site!
all of this took place within an hour and 15 min!!!!
from living tree to me shooting into the target.
not too "primitive" but i think you will enjoy the videos.

Ok, I have to say, i'm just about done watching the first vid, and this is fascinating!
I'm very interested in outdoor survival stuff, and this is top notch.
Cool stuff, Jamie =)

Jamie, that was excellent. That bow had snap to it. Well done. Jawge

...thank you all.
yes it was "green" but i wanted to show that it could be done...not the prettiest of bows, but it worked, quite well.
it had been some time since ive made a bow with just a knife it was challenging for me.
...i will post my next series of traps and snaring in the other forum on the site when i finish teaching the class.
i think you will enjoy that as well.
