Title: yew wood question

is it possible to make a yew bow just out of heart wood..dont get me wrong.i love the sap and heart wood.but,i really cant remeber seeing just a heart wood bow..john

I would also suggest its quite rude and it makes anything you write difficult to read, I personally would be grateful if you stopped doing it.

Yes like bcbull said or HOLLERED at us. ;) It dose give me a head ace,so most times I do read it
and that is bad cause you can miss some good ideas. :) :)

ohh yeah jorad..i totally forgot about that and no backing either ...hey cromm,i am not sure..i just havent really seen it done...thanks for the help and hollerin at each other..john

John, many of the West Coast Native Americans use yew heartwood , some with sinew and some without. Most of Ishi's bows were heartwood yew I believe.
