Finally picked up some tools today.(after a 6 month layoff) Broke the first three rocks I picked up,swing is way off. Then picked up a preform and whooped a side notch. Had a funeral this afternoon, but when I got home i figured I'd see ifin I was gettin back on. Knocked out this "semi calf creek/andice" Notches stalled on me, so I left it be.
Funny how a layoff effects things. The best knapper I know tells me to knapp a little every day, just to attain muscle memory.

Actually I was trying to do that bigger point all abo, but my notching sucks! I stalled out with my ulna bone notcher, then tried to get going again with copper,,A bit to late. They need to be alot deeper.

If that is what you do rusty, I can't wait till you get back to form. Nice!

Looks good Tim, like shannon said hard to forget it all. I know when I finally get home it will be at least a half dozen broke ones to start with.

They look nice to me, flake scars are nice, I'd be happy if mine were so good
