Title: hope ya'll are not tired of my questions

should upper and lower limbs be the same length..i'm still new to this and don't want to waste anymore wood than i have to

It's up to you - some make the lower slightly shorter,, some like equal length. Both'll work.
No right or wrong, just different ;)

Bubba, if you are just getting into bowyerin, then I'd suggest you make equal limb lengths.

I agree with Timo... It is much harder to see the limbs bending evenly (for me) if the limbs are different lengths... Also if you make one limb shorter than the other that dictates early on which is top limb and which is bottom limb, some times a bow shoots better flipped upside down which you can do if both limbs are equal length.  JMO   :)  Good luck!

I do them the same length from the center of the bow most of the time. :)
