It was a very good month to hunt bow wood. Walnut, osage, ash, and some elm and dogwood hiding underneath the pile is just waiting to be bent. I guess a rookie selfbowyer has to have plenty of materail around because mistakes are definately going to happen.
My son, Ethan, looks to share a little interest as for now anyway. My wife found him today with my pencil laying out a bow on a piece of firewood. We all got a good laugh out of that!

Imagine how neat it would be learning how to make bows from your dad. Really nice. Jawge
